Sharon, your tutor, is a fully qualified maths teacher. After spenting many years as a classroom teacher, she switched to being private maths tutor. Always patient, friendly and professional, she delivers enjoyable and highly effective maths lessons both face-to-face and online. She currently teaches lessons to students in year 9 of school or higher, from local schools that sit their GCSE mathematics examination with the Edexcel exam board.

Sharon teaches personalised and engaging lessons, focused on improving mathematical understanding that raises both confidence and grades, at her home in Norton, Stourbridge. Here, she provides a quiet and calm learning enviroment. Unfortunately, Sharon is unable to travel the student's home.

Excellent online lessons are available for students unable to travel to Sharon.

In my experience, students can be reluctant to try online maths lessons, particularly after recieving so much school online tuition during Covid-19. However, I find students enjoy and learn from my online lessons. So I would advise learners to try a 121 online lesson before making their decision.

Free trial: Choosing a private tutor via the internet, brings its challenges. Since, it is can be difficult to determine if the learner will enjoy and learn from the tutor's lessons and teaching style. So, to combat this, I offer a free mini taster lesson.
