UKMT: Past papers, Information & grade boundaries
What is the UK maths challenge?
This is a yearly maths competition produced by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT), a registered charity affiliated with The University of Leeds. These competitions are designed to stimulate and cultivate interest in mathematics and a love of solving problems. In these challenges, students answer multiple-choice questions that require the application of mathematical reasoning and problem solving.
How many challenges are there?
The UKMT produce three age related challenges. The junior UKMT challenge (school year 7 & 8), intermediate UKMT challenge (school year 9, 10 & 11) and senior UKMT challenge (school year 12 & 13).
How do you enter the competition?
All entrys to these competitions are submitted via a student's school, provided the school is a registered UKMT centre. So your school will enter you into the competition, you cannot enter the competition yourself.
